This restaurant is located by the road side. Their service is superb, the dish is ready within 30min. Highly recommend stir fried fish head grouper and fish head curry . It’s a bit salty, but overall the food standard is good. We ordered 6 dish and cost us RM181, which I think is reasonable. Sure will come back again

A popular eatery along Old Klang Road, famous with their Bakuteh and Seafood. Some how I still prefer bakuteh from Klang, so I ordered steam chicken, Steam fish, omelette and since vegetables. Love the steam chicken as its very juicy and fresh. Lala Meehoon is another favorite, the aroma is simply irresistible, portion not small too. Basically all their dishes are above average, not too expensive. Unless you ordered seafood. The Steam Grouper for 2 pax about RM80, which I think it’s quite reasonable as this at city center. Half Chicken about RM50, which is value for money given the size of chicken is really big. Overall write satisfying, only issue is parking. You have to park at road side, which subroutines quite difficult to exit as this is a very busy road. Good thing is that they assigned someone there to assist you in parking and exit.

There aren’t that many places in KL/PJ that serve ‘bak kut teh’ past 10pm, so it’s great to have this option. Service was good and efficient, and our food came in no time. The ‘bak kut teh’ was more on the herbal side for me. The other dishes are definitely worth a mention too, especially the salted egg prawn mantis. I’m just glad to discover a ‘tai chow’ place that serves good food in general!

The restaurant is just located across Scott Garden, Jalan Klang Lama. With a name like Bak Kut Teh, you thought they sell only Pork herbs dishes. I thought so. But they do offer any other Chinese dishes like your typical "Tai Chou" that goes with your rice or noodles. Prices are reasonable but not cheap. They have an inner air section, which you need to pre book especially when there is a huge crowd. Food is tasty but a bit on the salty side. Servings are big for a family of six. Parkings may be an issue as there are not many bays along the main road unless you parked all the way nearer to the Klang Wet market. If you want no frill Chinese food with a budget of rm200 for 6 persons, you can try this place. Bon appetit!

Was here at 2300. As its location just beside the main road, difficult to go slow to look for parking. Manage find 1 space at this hour. Food is good but portion is rather small for 3 person ( i think its ok for 2 person) . Tofu, sweet n sour pork, belacan kangkung, rice & Chinese tea Rm67. A pot of Chinese tea cost Rm9

I was in KL for some work meetings and decided to disturb my nephew (who’s studying there) for dinner and a little catch-up. He said he was craving Bak Kut Teh, so I randomly searched for somewhere nearby and stumbled upon this place. We ordered the classic Bak Kut Teh, stir-fried vegetables, and fried dough (you tiao). Just a heads-up: they don’t have salted vegetables, in case you’re the type who needs it (my nephew was looking for it). Then came this super enthusiastic aunty who kept asking us to try their fish, said it was super fresh, just arrived today. I looked around and noticed most tables didn’t have fish, so I hesitated for a bit… but then she mentioned it was pomfret, my favourite. Steamed with soy sauce. Say no more. The food came out quickly, and the service? Surprisingly good! Aunty was so attentive, kept checking in, helped us with everything, super sweet. And that pomfret she pushed us to try? OMG. No regrets. So, so, so fresh. The meat was tender, flaky, and practically melted in the mouth. Fell apart beautifully with just chopsticks. My nephew was quietly nodding while demolishing the fish and sipping his Bak Kut Teh like a happy kid. We both couldn’t stop eating. What a lovely surprise! Will definitely make this a regular stop whenever I’m in KL. And aunty!!! Thank you for the fish recommendation! You were right. I trust you now.

The food here is delicious. Each food portion is just right, the price is reasonable. There are air-conditioned room and open-aired sitting. Their recommended specialties are all delicious and would recommend others to try them too. Last but not least, the parking here is limited and need to park at your own risk.
